Ming’s athletic journey began on the track as a dedicated sprinter with aspirations of building a professional career in athletics. Although injuries eventually redirected his path, they also opened the door to a deeper purpose — helping others reach their fullest potential.
At ATHLETIC INC, Ming has embraced a meaningful new chapter in the world of sports performance. Drawing from his own experiences as an athlete, he now designs and delivers structured, evidence-based programmes that empower athletes to move better, grow stronger, and pursue their personal sporting goals.
Ming’s coaching philosophy centres on the belief that consistency matters far more than perfection — that athletes should not fear failure, nor measure their progress against others, but instead focus on steady, personal improvement over time. This mindset underpins every programme and interaction he brings to his coaching practice.
His professional credentials include certification in Surge Strength & Conditioning (SSDC) from Surge Swimming USA and completion of the ASCA Level 1 Strength & Conditioning Coach accreditation, further demonstrating his ability to design effective, sport-specific training programmes for athletes of various levels.
Ming also holds a Diploma in Sports and Exercise Science from PSB Academy, Singapore, and a Bachelor of Science in Sports & Exercise Science from the University of Edinburgh — qualifications that reflect his commitment to the science and principles behind athletic performance, movement quality, and injury resilience.
